Where does the CO2 we exhale ultimately come from? Carbon in the glucose and oxygen we breathe in.
If there is no oxygen, why can't our cells survive off of fermentation? Only small amount of energy is produced in fermentation, not enough for cells.
In aerobic respiration, what role does molecular oxygen play? Where is it needed and what does in produce in the end? Needed in the Electron Transport Chain and helps to make H2O
Remember the formula for cellular respiration. C6H12O6 +6O2 -> ATP +6CO2 + 6H2O
