What is another name for the French and Indian War? The seven year war
Why was the French and Indian War started? It was over the Ohio Valley
Why did the French want the Ohio Valley? They saw it as a trasportion way to get from Canada and back into America
Why did the English want the Ohio Valley? They thought it was important for trade and growth
How did the English fight? They fought in open fields
How did the French and Indians fight? They did sneak attacks
How did the English starting winning the war? They started war with France, so then the French would send the French colonists back to France so they could fight in the war.
Why did the French think they were more powerful? They had the Indians to help them
Why did the English think they were more powerful? They had bigger troups and more guns
Who got the Ohio Valley in the end? The English
The French signed a treaty to stop the war. What was this treaty called? The Treaty of Paris
Who was winning at first? The French
What did George Washington do after he did not succed? He made Fort Neccessity which was destroyed by the French after almost finishing it
Who was General Braddock? He was the best general in England for his knowledge and skills
What countries thought they owned the Ohio Valley? The French and English
What happened to Fort Necessity? It got attacked by the French when the fort was alomost finished
