What is the purpose of photosynthesis? To use sun, carbon dioxide, and water to make food (glucose) for plants.
What is the formula for photosynthesis? CO2 + H2O + Sunlight-----> C6H12O6 + O2
Where does photosynthesis take place? In the chloroplast
What is the purpose of cellular respiration? To make energy from food
What is the formula for cellular respiration? C6H12O6 + O2-----> CO2 + H2O + ATP
What is the connection between photosynthesis and cellular respiration? Both release materials the other reaction needs.
What does photosynthesis release that is then used for photosynthesis? oxygen
What does cellular respiration release that is then used for photosynthesis? carbon dioxide
