Cytosine A nitrogen base that is complementary to Guanine
Guanine A nitrogen base that is complementary to Cytosine
Thymine A nitrogen base that is complementary to Adenine.
Adenine A nitrogen base that is complementary to Thymine.
Replication Two identical strands of DNA are produced in this process
Nitrogen base Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine, Guanine. Part of the nucleotide.
Phosphate group Attached to the sugar/Deoxyribose to form the backbone of DNA double helix. Part of the Nucleotide.
23 chromosomes The number of chromosomes a normal human cells holds. A picture of this is called a Karyotype.
