What is a specialised cell? A cell that is designed to do a particular job in an organism.
Give one way a sperm cell is adpated to its function? Has a tail which provides movement so it can swim and find an egg to fertilise.
What is the scientific term for White blood cells? Neutrophils
What is the scientific term for Red blood cells? Erythrocytes
What shape is a erythrocyte? Biconave disk sahpe
Name one example of a specialised cell in plants? Pallisade cells, Guard cells and root hair cells.
What is a tissue? A group of similar cells that perfrom a particular function.
Name a plant tissue? Xylem or Phloem
What is an organ? A collection of tissues working together to perform a particular function.
What is Differentiation? The development and changes seen in cells as they mature to form specialised cells.
