| Cytoplasm | supports organelles; constantly moving; moves things in the cell |
| Mitochondria | Releases energy for cell work |
| Chloroplasts | During photosynthesis, converts solar energy to chemical energy to make FOOD in the form of glucose (sugar) |
| Only in PLANT cells | cell wall and chloroplast |
| Mitochondria | Synthesizes (makes) energy in the form of ATP |
| Cell membrane | Controls (regulates) what enters and leaves the cell |
| Cell wall | Outer boundary in PLANT cells that gives extra structure and support to the cell |
| Plant cells | Cells that have cell walls, and chloroplasts. |
| Animal cells | Cells that DO NOT have a cell wall, and chloroplasts. |
