What is the cell theory? The cell theory states that all organisms are made of cells, all cells are produced by other living cells, and the cell is the most basic unit of life.
What is the cell membrane? The cell membrane is a barrier that separates a cell from the external environment.
What is required for an object to be considered alive? Cells
How do you determine if something is a plant or animal cell? If you see a cell wall it is a plant cell.
What is hypotonic? A solution that has a solute concentration lower than the solute concentration inside a cell.
What is hypertonic? A solution that has a solute concentration higher than the solute concentration inside a cell.
What is isotonic? A solution that has a solute concentration equal to the solute concentration inside a cell.
What is Facilitated diffusion? It is the diffusion of molecules across a membrane through transport proteins.
What is the job of a nucleus in the cell ? The nucleus is the storehouse for most of the genetic information, or DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), in your cells.
