Vacuole Holds food, water, waste-Storage structure
Lysosome Breaks down carbohydrates, proteins and lipids-Digestion.
Ribosomes Assemble proteins.
Golgi Complex Stores/Packages chemicals.
Cytoplasm Material between nucleus and cell membrane.
Nucleus Control center- Hold genetic information.
Nucleolus Ribosome production.
Nuclear Membrane Surrounds the nucleus.
Cell Membrane Controls what goes in/out of cell.
Mitochondria "Power house"-Energy
Smooth Engoplasmic Reticulum Internal transportation.
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum Transports with ribosomes.
Centriole Involved in mitoses.
Cell Wall Protection/Holds shape.
Chloroplast Stores chlorophyll and is involved with photosynthesis.
Cilia/Flagella Hairlike structures used for movement.
Cell Plate During cytokinesis, the new cell wall that begins to form in the middle, dividing the two sides.
Chlorophyll Traps light and is used to produce food for plants.
Genes Units of heredity.
Nuclear Pore Minute hole in nuclear membrane.
Plastid Stores food or contains pigment,
Microtubule Microscopic cylinders that support and give the cell shape.
