Saliva First step to the digestive system
Tongue Mixes saliva with food
Esophagus Launches food into stomach
Stomach Food churns in stomach and becomes slurry. Sent to small intestine.
Liver Creates bile and dissolves fat in the small intestine.
Small Intestine Absorbs nutrients from slurry
Large Intestine Slurry is mostly made of water and heading to rectum. AKA colon
Excretion Removes useless and harmful chemicals from the body.
