ENZYMES are catalysts – they help to breakdown and synthesis. They control chemical reactions. (proteins)
FATS lipids that are solid at room temperature.
FATTY ACIDS building block of lipids. Used to make cell membranes and store energy.
GLUCOSE a common monosaccharide (sugar) that is formed during photosynthesis.
INORGANIC COMPOUND a compound that does not contain both carbon and hydrogen.(water ,Carbon dioxide, iodine)
LIPID are fats and oils. Used to make cell membranes and store energy.
Organic compound Lipids, Proteins, Carbohydrates, Nucleic acids (DNA) all contain carbon and hydrogen
Proteins made of amino acids (enzymes, pigments, hemoglobin, hormones)
