epithelial tissues | sheets of cells that cover surfaces (inside and out!) |
Connective tissues | anchor organs and muscles within the body |

set point | the target value for a system (for human body temperature = 98.6 deg F) |
stimulus | cues, input that triggers a reaction in the body |
insulin | helps the glucose in the blood stream get into cells or into the liver |
glycogon | helps release glucose from the liver back into the bloodstream |
