ATP energy

TermDefinition
ATP = adenosine triphosphate a small molecule that provides energy for reactions in the cell.
active transport When particles are moved from low concentration to high concentration. Requires energy in the form of ATP.
Cellular respiration process that breaks down organic molecules and uses the energy to build ATP
mitochondria membrane bound organelle where the energy transform takes place.
