What is a trophic level? A feeding level (stage in a biomass pyramid)
What happens when you move up a trophic level in a biomass pyramid? Less energy and less biomass.
What is biomass? The total quantity or weight of organisms in a given area or volume.
What does each trophic level represent on a biomass pyramid? The biomass of the one stage of the chain.
What does a food chain normally look like? 3 Secondary consumer 2 Primary Consumer 1 Producer
