Punnett Square Tool used to predict the outcomes of genotype from a particular cross of organisms
Incomplete Dominance Situation that occurs when neither allele is hidden in an organism, but blend to make a different phenotype
Co-Dominance Situation that occurs when both alleles are fuly expressed in an organism and can result in a different phenotype
Monohybrid Cross Tool used to study the inheritance of a single trait in an organism.
Dihybrid Cross Tool used to study the inheritance of a 2 traits in an organism.
Testcross Used to determine an unknown genetype of an organism by crossing it with one which has the recessive trait
Pedigree Chart which shows how traits are passed from one generation to the next within a family
Karyotype Chart which shows the number and arrangment of chromosomes.
Law of Segregation Mendel's which states that an organism inherits one copy of each gene from each parent and those alleles are separated during Meiosis
Law of Independent Assortment Mendel's Law which states that genes are inherited separately in an organism
Carrier An organism which expresses the dominant trait, but could have offspring with the recessive trait
Sex-linked Gene Genes that are carried on an organisms sex chromosomes
