What is the structure of an atom? - made up of smaller particles; neutrons, protons, and electrons - attraction between protons and electrons
What are enzymes? are protein that speeds up a biological reaction by lowering the activation and energy needed to start the reaction
What are the Biochemical Cycles? Water Cycle and Nitrogen Cycle
What is the Water Cycle? Water movers between bodies of water; plants, atmosphere, and land
What is the Nitrogen Cycle? Nitrogen gas is captured into a form use able by plants
What are trophic levels? Is each step in a food web or a food chain
What is the cell structure? The biological unit of all known living organisms
What is the nucleus and what type of cell is it found in? The center of nucleuse where ribosomes are formed.... found in Eukaryote Cells ( Plant and Animal)
What is the cell membrane and what type of cell is it found in? maintain homostasis... found in Eukaryote Cells ( Palnt and Animal)
What is the endoplasmic reticulum and what type of cell is it found in? Smooth- where lipids are made , liver> detoxifio Rough- have ribosomes attached to it, proteins are made Both- system f folded scars found in Eukaryotic Cells ( Plant and Animal)
What is the mitochondria and what type of cell is it found in? a membrane-bound organelle that makes energy available to the rest of the cell;converts suger into energy; 'Powerhouse' of the cell...found in Euaryote Cells
