Structures and functions of the flower reproductive system. Goes with IQWST LS3

QuestionAnswer
pistil Name for the female reproductive system
stigma Sticky part of the female reproductive system that collects pollen.
style Holds up the stigma
ovary Houses ovules, fertilization takes place here, seeds are made here
ovule Female reproductive cell (similar to egg in humans)
pollen tube Transfers pollen from the stigma to the ovary.
stamen Name for the male reproductive system.
anther Produces and releases pollen
filament Holds up the anther
pollen Male reproductive cell (similar to sperm in humans).
