Guidance an ongoing system of strategies to help children learn to manage impulses, express feelings, channel frustrations, solve problems, and learn the difference between acceptable and unacceptable behvior.
Discipline the ability to follow an example or follow rules, the development of self control or control in general such as by imposing order on a group. In early childhood terms, discipline means everything adults do and say to influence children's behavior.
Punishment a consequence for inappropriate behavior
