Biosphere- all life on earth, all that places that life lives, oceans, land mass, atmosphere several kilometers above the earth, sediments at the very depth of the ocean floor
Ecosystems- All the living things in a certain area along with all non-living things that make up that area (i.e. soil, water, grass, etc.)
Communities- Array of organisms inhabiting a particular ecosystem including animals, plants, trees, etc.
Populations- all individuals of a species living within the bound of a specified area
Organisms- all living things
Organs and organ systems- a body part that carries out a particular function in the body or a group of organs
Tissues- a group of cells that work together to perform a specialized function
Cells- life’s functional unit of structure and function
Organelles- various functional components present in cells
Molecules- chemical structure consisting of two or more units called atoms
Three Domain system- Bacteria, Eukarya, Archaea
Five Kingdom System- Animals, Fungi, Plants, Protists, Bacteria
Scientific Inquiry- The way we study living things, hypothesis and observation bases science
Evolution the process of change that has transformed life on earth from its earliest beginnings to the diversity of organisms living today
