Vaccuoles Stores food, water, waste, and other matierials
Mitochondria Produces the energy that a cell needs to carry out its functions
Lysosomes Uses chemicals to break down food and warn down cell parts
Cytoplasm Gel like fluid where organelles can be found
Golgi bodies Receives proteins from the ER, packages them and distributes them
Ribesomes Assembles amino acids to create proteins
Nucleus Control center of the cell, contains DNA
Nucleolus found inside the nucleus, produces ribesomes
Chromatin Tiny strands inside the nucleus that contain the instructions for directing the cells functions
