The two types of respiration. Anaerobic (doesn't need oxygen) and Aerobic (requires oxygen)
Respiration has three main stages they are... Glycolysis-- anaerobic, Krebs cycle-- aerobic, ETC-- aerobic.
Glycolysis occurs in the ............, but the Krebs cycle, and ETC occur in the ... Cytoplasm and mitochondria.
Glycolysis is... The process in which one molecule of glucose is oxidized to produce two molecules of pyruvic acid.
Aerobic respiration has two major stages, what are they? Krebs cycle and ETC.
Krebs cycle occurs where? Matrix of the Mitochondria.
ECT occurs where? Along the cristea membranes in the Mitochondria.
When does fermentation occur? When there is no oxygen present.
Fermentation is a ......... process. Anaerobic.
What are the two types of fermentation? Alcoholic and lactic acid.
