Fee Money charged for a service
Savings account Money that earns interest in a bank
Budget A plan for spending money
Balance The amount of money left in an account after the withdrawals are subtracted from the deposits.
Atm A machine that lets you put money into a bank account or take money out.
Minimum balance The smallest amount of money a person can keep in a bank account without having to pay a fee.
interest Money that a bank pays you for keeping your money in the bank.
check register A booklet in a checkbook to keep track of checks and deposits.
Credit card A card that allows a person to buy something now and pay for it later.
Safe deposit box A secure box at the bank for keeping special items.
deposit slip A slip of paper you fill out to show how much money you are putting into a bank account.
withdrawal slip a slip of paper you fill out to show how much money you are taking out of a bank account.
