4 .How does texture affect color? smooth surfaces reflect more light than rough surfaces.
5. What do curved lines suggest? coziness , comfort, naturalness and delicateness.
6. What is the difference between horizontal, vertical, and radial balance? horizontal is left and right ,vertical is top and bottom parts and radial is elements radiate out from design.
7. What do diagonal lines suggest? movement , activity and excitement.
8. What is space? its means what you working at / is a area provide for a particular purpose. can have 2D floor or 3D room.
9. What are the four types of rhythm? gradation , radiation line , repetition and continuous line .
10. What is asymmetrical balance? Example? is parts of the design are not identical but are equal in visual weigth,,,, for example a picture / pant cone is equal to vase / capcake form design.
11. What is the difference between horizontal and vertical lines? is that the horizontal is eye from left to riht and the vertical is eye up.
12. What is the golden mean? 3 to 5 ratio.
13. What is the difference between shape and form? the differents is that the shape is 2D with length ,width,, and the form is 3D with length width and depth.
14. What are the five types of balance? Symmetrical Balance , Bilateral Balance, Formal Balance ,Asymmetrical Balance ,informal balance and Radial Balance.
15. What does unity or harmony mean? all elements and principales of design work togather to create harmony.
16.What are the two things texture involves? involves how the surface feels to the touch and how it appears to fell.
17.What are the four types of line? vertical , horizontal , diagonal and curved.
18.What is proportion? is means that each of the parts are the right size to belong to the whole.
19.Which of the five types of balance suggests excitement or interest? contrast
20. What is symmetrical balance? Example? Symmetrical Balance-when both parts are identical Example- plants, insects or humans
21.What is emphasis? What is another name for it? is a focal point in the design .........one object or item stands out
22.What happens when you use a continuous line? create a line for eye to follows a continuous.
23.What is another name for symmetrical balance? is symmetry -formal
24.What is another name for asymmetrical balance? is asymmetry - informal
