substrate level phosphorylation the process of forming atp by combining the phosphate group of a substrate with a molecule of adp
acetyl coenzyme a ( acetyl coA) a coenzyme produced by the krebs cycle that is formed by combining coenzyme a with a two carbon group
ATP synthase the enzyme embedded in the cell membrane that produces atp
lactic acid fermentation as our cells work anaerobically nadh can be synthetically produced but pyruvates become lactate
alcoholic fermentation fermenting for the purpose of creating alcoholic beverages and ethanol
