What is a hue? Name of color/color itself
Color Wheel Comprised of 3 primary colors. Red, Yellow, Blue
3 basic colors that are used Red, Blue, Yellow (cannot achieve these colors by mixing not primary colors)
Secondary Colors Violet, Green, Orange.
What are tertiary colors? When you mix equal parts of one primary color and one secondary color you achieve the tertiary color.
Tints and Shades Shades - when you mix a saturated color with pure black Tints - when you mix a saturated color with pure white
Saturated color
No white or Black in them
Warm and Cool colors
Orange, Red, Yellow | Blue, Green, Violet
Monochromatic Colors Tints and Shades of one color Ex: Navy Blue, Baby blue
Analogous Colors 3 or more colors next to eachother on the color wheel Ex: Red, Red-Violet
Complementary Color Harmony 2 colors opposite of eachother on color wheel

Triadic color harmony 3 colors equal distance of eachother of color wheel
