6. Name the Primary colors. red, blue, and yellow
7. Name the secondary colors. violet, green, and orange
8. What is the value of a color? the lightness or darkness of a color
9. What is the intensity of a color mean? the brightness or dullness of a color
10. What is the hue? color itself
11. How do you make a tint? add pure white to a saturated color
12. How do you make a shade? add pure black to a saturated color
13. What are the warm colors? red, orange and yellow
14. What are the cool colors.? blue, green, and violet
15. What are the neutral colors? black , white, grey, brown and tan
16. What is unique about the primary colors? they are used to create all of the other colors and cannot be achieved by mixing any other colors together
17. Name 3 tertiary colors. red-violet, blue-violet, and yellow-green
18. What is the proper way to name a tertiary color? primary color first then secondary color (primary-secondary)
19. What is another name for a tertiary color? intermediate color
20. What is a triadic color scheme? three colors that are located within equal distances of each other
