What is a monochromatic color scheme? tints and shades of only one color.
what is an analogous color scheme? using three or more colors next to each other on the color wheel.
what is an accented nuetral color scheme? any combination of neutral colors with an extra color outside of the neutrals.
what color scheme is 2 colors oppisite on the color wheel? complementary color scheme.
how many colors are in a split complementary color scheme? three.
name the primary colors. red, blue, and yellow.
name the secondary colors. violet, green, and orange.
what is the value of a color? the lightness or darkness of a color.
what does the intensity of a color mean? the brightness or dullness.
what is the hue? the color itself.
how do you make a tint? mix a saturated color with pure white.
how do you make a shade? mix a saturated color with pure black.
what are the warm colors? red, orange, and yellow.
what are the cool colors? blue, green, and violet.
what are the neutral colors? black, grey, white, brown, and tan.
what is unique about the primary colors? mixed with each other they can create the secondary colors and from there the tertiary colors can be created but no color combination can create the primary colors.
name 3 tertiary colors. red violet, blue violet, and blue green.
what is the proper way to name a tertiary color? the primary and secondary color names are joined by a dash.
what is another name for a tertiary color? intermediate.
what is a triadic color scheme? three colors that are located in equal distance of each other on the color wheel.
