| Muscular System | consists of all the muscles in your internal organs, as well as those attached to bones. |
| Tendon | Attach muscles to bones |
| Contracting | muscles getting shorter |
| Voluntary Muscles | can be controlled by thinking |
| Involuntary Muscles | automatically contract on their own, such as your stomach. |
| Flexor | bends a joint (example: biceps) |
| Extensor | straightens a joint (example: triceps) |
| Smooth Muscle | they’re involuntary, working automatically they are found in internal organs (examples: intestines, blood vessels) |
| Cardiac Muscle | involuntary,found only in the heart |
| Sketetal Muscle | they’re all voluntary and they are attached to bones & structures needing movement |
