1. What is a monochromatic color scheme? They are achieved by using tints and shades of only one color
2. What is an analogous color scheme? Scheme using three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
3. What is an accented neutral color scheme? A neutral color scheme with one added color
4. What color scheme is 2 colors opposite on the color wheel? Complementary Color
5. How many colors in a split complementary scheme? Three
6. Name the Primary colors. Red, Blue, Yellow
8. What is the value of color? It is the lightness or darkness of a color
9. What is the intensity of a color mean? It is the brightness or dullness of a color
10. What is the hue? Hue refers to the color itself. It is a reflected wavelength of light.
11. How do you make a tint? You add white to a color
12. How do you make a shade? You add black to a color
13. What are the warm colors? Red, Orange, & Yellow
14. What are the cool colors? Blue, Green, & Violet
15. What are the neutral colors? Black, Grey, White, Brown, & Tan
16. What is unique about the primary colors? No colors can be mixed to create them.
17. Name 3 tertiary colors. Red-violet Blue-violet Blue-green Yellow-green Yellow-orange Red-orange
18. What is the proper way to name a tertiary color? Primary color and then secondary color
19. What is another name for a tertiary color? Yellow-Orange, Blue-Violet, Red-Orange, Blue-Green, Yellow-Green, Red-Violet
20. What is a triadic color scheme? Three colors that are located within equal distance of each other
