Scientific Method

QuestionAnswer
Variable Something you change when doing an experiment
Placebo a fake pill or fake medicine
Control Group the group in the experiment that has nothing changed (normal)
Independent Variable the one thing you change
Dependent Variable the one that depends on the independent variable a. It is what you measure. b. It is the data you record
Hypothesis an educated guess
Data information written down from observations
Conclusion the answer you get to the problem
Experiment Group the group that has the independent variable. It is the group you do something to.
