QuestionAnswer
What is the definition of independence? This key term means that you are responsible for your own actions.
What are duties or jobs called that you must carry through? Responsibilities
Who are authority figures? These are people, like principals and teachers, who help guide the behaviors of others in the school community.
Who is a citizen? A member of a community, city, state, and country.
What does citizenship mean? This is a status you have with rights and responsibilities. You can drive a car but you must obey the driving rules.
How do you gain more privileges? Being more responsible and trustworthy is one way.
How do you demonstrate that you are a good citizen? You can do this by obeying laws and respecting community property.
How can you show you are a good global citizen? You can do this by protecting the earth from pollution.
What is an example of protecting the environment by "Going Green"? You can do this by picking up trash or riding a bike instead of driving a car.
What does the term global citizen mean? This is a person who understands that he is not just a citizen of his own community but a citizen of the whole world.
