What are the roles of support people Advocates, mediators and support personnel each play a somewhat similar role with respect to conflict resolution. Their aim is to represent and work with an individual or group who may need support and encouragement to ensure that their rights are upheld
Advocates a person who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policy. eg: lawyer
Mediators a person who attempts to make people involved in a conflict come to an agreement; a go-between.
