| Chromosome | A structure in all living cell that consist of a single molecule of DNA bonded to various proteins and that carries the games determining heredity |
| Gonad | A sex gland in which gametes are produced; An ovary or testis |
| Polar Bodies | One of the minute cell arising from the unequal meiotic division of the ovum at or near the time of fertilization |
| Ovun/ Ova | Female reproductive cell or gamete of plants |

| Centromere | A specialized structure on the chromosome, appearing during cell division as the constricted central region where the two chromatids are held together and from an X shape |
