What is the function of trichomes? | keeps leaf surface cool and reduces evapouration. May secrete sticky stuff or poison to prevent herbivores from eating it |
What are the characteristics of trichomes? | tiny growths on epidermis surface found on leaves and stems wooly or fuzzy |
What are the functions and characteristics of root hairs? | Tiny extensions of epidermal cells on roots increase SA to absorb more nutrients |
