What is a genotype? The gene in a person, and the alleles used for that specific gene. (i.e. Bb is a genotype)
What is a phenotype? The trait that is decided by the genotype. (i.e. Blonde hair is a phenotype)
What is the difference between a phenotype and a genotype? A genotype is the genes. They decide the phenotype, which is the actual trait.
What are alleles? Letters used to represent a gene.
Dominant genes are represented by ___________ letters. Capital
Recessive genes are represented by ______________ letters. Lowercase
Another word for heterozygous is... ? hybrid
