Enzyme Speed up chemical reactions (works with catalyze)
Catalyze Speed up chemical reactions
Active Site Spot on the enzyme where the substrate connects to the enzyme
Substrate Part of the enzyme matches the shape of the molecule to be reacted
Protein A chain of amino acids that play an important role in determining the traits of living things
Amino Acid Building blocks for proteins
Denature Changing the shape of an enzyme, causing it to become less effective or useless
Antigen "Protein" that causes your immune system to make antibodies
Antibody Proteins that bind to antigens and signal their destruction by the immune system
Immune Rejection Body rejects new blood by attaching antibodies and signaling their destruction
