What is the skeletal system? All the bones in the body.

What bone protects the brain? The Cranium.
What is the purpose of the rib cage? To protect the heart,lungs and liver.
What minerals make bones so strong? Calcium and phosphorous.
Give three functions of bones. Any 3 of: 1. They give the body structure. 2. They protect internal organs from injury. 3. They assist in the movement of the body. 4. They produce blood cells. 5. Used as a storage sight for many important minerals.
What is the hollow space in the middle of bones filled with? Bone Marrow
What is the smallest bone in the human body? The stirrup
Where do 2 different bones meet? Joints
What are the bones in your spine called? Vertebrae
How many bones are in your spine? 26
At what age do your bones normally have stopped growing by? 25
What type of joint is found in your knee and elbow? Hinge joint
What type of joint is found in your shoulder? Ball and Socket joint.
What is the largest bone in the human body? Femur
