Medical Emergency

QuestionAnswer
Rescuer First student aware of emergency.
Duties of the rescuer assigns responder duties to the people in close proximity; stays with patient.
Responder #1 duties immediately brings clinic dentist to the emergency. Stands by to call 911 with details.
Responder #2 duties Immediately retrieves emergency cart and brings it to the emergency suite. Alerts the nearest instructor as to suite # experiencing the emergency. Helps with traffic control and keep lookie-lews out of the way.
Responder #3 duties non emergency patient care provider/traffic control. Will escort patients from the nearby units to the waiting room. Keep lookie-lews out of way.
