neural spine dorsal projection that terminates the caudal vertebrae
neural arch arch that extends dorsally from the centrum to cradle the spinal column in the caudal vertebrae. it also exists in the trunk vertebrae but does not terminate in a neural spine.

Interneural (intercalary) plate Dorsal intercalary plates form a continuous roof over the spinal cord and the ventral intercalary plates occur between basapophyses which articulate with the ribs

hemal spine terminates the hemal arch under the centrum
notochord exists as a thin central strand in the centrum and gelatinous masses between adjacent vertebrae due to the constriction by vertebral cartilages during develpment
