cell membrane the layer around the outside of a cell that gives the cell its shape
nucleus a large, round organelle usually found in the center of the cell; the cell's control center
cytoplasm a fluid substance that fills the space in the cell
chloroplast a green structure in a cell where sunlight is used to produce food for the plant
chlorophyll a green chemical located in the chloroplast that uses energy from sunlight to make food for the plant
cell wall an additional outer covering around the outside of plant cells
