| Scavenger | An animal that feeds on dead plants or animals |
| Food chain | A series of living things that show one food source to the other |
| Food web | A series of food chains |
| Sun's role in food chain/ web | The sun's role is to provide the autotrophs with food, which supplies all the rest of the animals with food because, the heterotrophs eat the autotrophs |
