Color Test

Color scheme, color wheel, ect.

What is a monochromatic color scheme? Different tints or shades of a color
What is a hue? A color
What is a neutral color scheme? Made up of all neutral colors (colors not on the wheel)
What is an accented neutral color scheme? All neutral colors with one hue
What are primary colors? The three main colors that cannot be made. These colors make up all other colors.
Name the primary colors Red Blue and Yellow
What are complimentary colors? Colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel
What is an analogous color scheme? 3 or more colors that are directly next each other on the color wheel
What are secondary colors? Any two primary colors mixed together (Green, Violet, and Orange)
What are tertiary colors? A primary color mixed with a secondary color (when being named primary goes first)
What is a triad color scheme? Colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel and make a perfect triangle
What is a split complimentary? One base color and the two colors on either side of its compliment
How do you make a shade? Add black
How do you make a tint? Add white
