What is a monochromatic color scheme? Tints and shades in one color.
What is an analogous color scheme? Three or more colors that are neighbors on the color wheel.
What is an accented neutral color scheme? A neutral harmony with one color from the color wheel?
What color scheme is 2 colors opposite on the color wheel? Complementary Color Harmony.
How many colors in a split complementary color scheme? Three colors.
Name the Primary colors. Red, Yellow, Blue
Name the secondary colors. Green, Violet, Purple
What is the value of a color? Lightness of Darkness of a color.
What is the intensity of a color mean? Brightness or dullness of a color.
What is the hue? A color
How do you make a tint? By adding white to a hue.
How do you make a shade? By adding black to a hue.
What are the warm colors? Red, Orange, Yellow
What are the cool colors? Blue, Violet, Green
What are the neutral colors? Tan, White, Black, Brown
What is unique about the primary colors? They are true colors and can not be made. They make every other color.
Name 3 tertiary colors. Blue - Violet, Blue - Green, Red - Orange
What is the proper way to name a tertiary color? Put the primary color first.
What is another name for a tertiary color? intermediate colors.
What is a triadic color scheme? Three colors equal distance of each other on the color wheel.
