Adversity state or condition contrary to well being
Arbitrate to submit or refer for decision to an independent person in order to settle a dispute
Compromise coming to an agreement in which each person gives up something in order to get what they both want
Conflict any struggle, disagreement, or fight
Conflict resolution the process of settling a conflict by cooperating and problem solving
Legislate to make laws or rules to settle a conflict
Litigate to contest a dispute in a court of law
Mediation a process in which a neutral third party is used to help reach a solution that’s agreeable to both sides
Negotiation the process of discussing problems face-to-face in order to reach a solution
Selfishness having little or no concern for others
Team a cooperative unit
Tolerance the ability to overlook or accept things you do not agree with; accepting and respecting other people’s customs and beliefs
Trust a firm belief in the honesty and reliability of another person
