population all the inhabitants of a particular town, area or country.
parasite an organism that lives in on another organism and benefits by deriving nutrients at the host`s expense.
Non-renewable resource A type of loan that is secured by collateral, which is usually property.
autotrophic Autotroph is a biological term that breaks down to mean "self-" (auto-) "nourishing" (troph). Autotrophic organisms synthesize their own food from simple organic substances.
Helerotrophic Relating to an organism that cannot manufacture its own food and instead obtains its food and energy by taking in organic substances, usually plant or animal matter.
Evaporation is a type of vaporization of a liquid that occurs from the surface of a liquid into a gaseous phase that is not saturated with evaporation substance.
precipitation the action or process of precipitating a substance from a solution.
industrialization The process in which a society or country (or world) transforms itself from a primarily agricultural society into one based on the manufacturing of goods and services.
host a person who receives or entertains other people as guests.
trade off a balance achieved between two desirable but incompatible features; a compromise.
deforestation is the clearing of trees, transforming a forest into cleared land.
