Cell cycle

QuestionAnswer
cell cycle the life cycle of a cell. This includes both interphase and mitosis/cytokinesis. Interphase is broken into G1, S, and G2 phases.
sister chromatids identical copies of chromosome. One goes to each daughter cell during cell divison
mitosis divison of the nucleus in and eukaryote
Cyokinesis divison of the cell's cytoplasm to produce two daughters
centromere region that joins the two sister chromtids before their seperation
kinethochore region on chromatid
spindle network of microtubules that extend from the poles of the dividing cell to each chromatid. These microtublues shorten and help pull the chromatids apart during anaphase
