Revise The Excretory System

What is excretion? Excretion is the process by which the body removes waste that has been produces by the body's own cells.
What are the three main organs responsible for excretion? The lungs, the kidneys, the skin.
What do the Lungs excrete? Carbon dioxide and some water.
What do the Kidneys excrete? Urine (water and salt).
What does the skin excrete? Sweat (water and salt).
Where is urine stored before it is released from the body? The bladder.
What is the normal temperature of the Human body? 37 degrees.
If we get too hot the skin excretes sweat to help us cool down, can you name the two components of sweat? Water and salt.
