TermDefinition
Iris Controls the amount of light entering the eye.
Pupil Allows light to enter the eye.
Lens Focuses light onto the Retina.
Retina Absorbs light to allow us to see.
Optic nerve Carries messages from the eye to the brain.
Cornea (H) Protects eye and allows light to pass through it.
Ciliary muscle (H) Causes the lens to change shape.
Stimulus Causes a reaction.
Responce Is the reaction.
Neuron A nerve cell.
Sensory nerve Carries messages to the brain.
Motor nerve Carries messages from the brain.
