How do they develop ? They develop as protostomes which means they develop their mouth before their anus.
Are arthropods segmented? Yes, arthropods have metameres , which show limited tagmosis ( metameric specialization)
What is the organization of their skeleton/ body parts ? They have an exoskeleton( made of chitin)
How are do arthropods see? They have compound eyes. Their eyes form composite images that are made of sections.
What is the taxonomy of athropods based on Classically it is based on morphology.
What are the three subphyla of arthropoda? Cholicerita- Horse shoe crab. Crustica- Crusticans Uniramia- insects
What are the proposed molecular subphyla? Crustica- chlicerita Merapodia- many legs Insecta
