Cells

TermDefinition
Photosynthesis When a plant cell uses water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide to create glucose energy.
Cellular Respiration When an animal uses oxygen to process food into glucose and energy.
Fermentation A backup system for cells to create energy when cells don't have enough oxygen. The cells use carbon dioxide.
