vacuole sac like structure that is used in storage
Golgi App flattened stack of membranes that package and distribute material in the cell
Nucleus large dark structure that contains DNA
Chromosome material that is made up of DNA that contain genetic material (X shaped)
Lysosomes round structure that breaks down used organelles and disposes of them
Ribosomes look like very small dots that make proteins
Nucleolus small region in the nucleus that is made up of RNA
Plasma Membrane Bi-layer made of proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates that regulate what enters/leaves the cell
Endoplasmic Reticulum (rough/smooth) part of the cell that transports material through the cel and also stores calcium
Centriole found in animal cells an are used during cell division
cilia hair like structure that is used by unicellular organisms for movement
cytoplasm gel like substance where the organelles of a cell are located
cell wall extra protection for a plant cell only, regulating what enters/leaves the cell
Chloroplast organelle in plant cells that captures light energy and converts it to chemical energy
Cytoskeleton supporting network of protein fibers (microtubules) that provides a framework for the cell within the cytoplasm
